headspace Upper Coomera supports young people in the community aged 12 – 25 to access free & confidential support for their mental health. The centre has recently expanded and with this expansion, we have been given the opportunity to create an outdoor garden area which we are aiming to turn into a yarning space for the Upper Coomera to build connection and relationships with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community. We are aiming to provide a safe space for all young people in the community, as well as headspace clients. headspace Upper Coomera are hoping to raise funds to help create the yarning circle and a mural to brighten the area.
