This is for you Duff!
As some of you may already know, we lost a mate to suicide coming up to 6 years in November due to a long ongoing battle with mental health and addictions. Mental health struggles can be a silent killer and more education and awareness around the topic is needed in today’s society. With this in mind, I am taking part in The Push-Up Challenge. I have committed to smashing out 3,214 push-ups each from 4-26 June, to represent the number of people who died by suicide in 2023. This number is only just shy of last year’s number which isn’t good enough. We need to see this number dropping faster.
