In June, our Community is taking part in The Push-Up Challenge. We are going to help shine the spotlight on the number of lives lost to suicide in 2022 and raise awareness of mental health. Join our team or support someone who is taking part. Help us push for better mental health.
The Push-Up Challenge has participants completing 3,249 push-ups over 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health. It all kicks off on June 5th.
Sounds like too many push-ups? No probs, you can take on half that amount (1,625) and can substitute push-ups for alternatives, like squats and sit-ups. It’s free to take part!
We are pushing in memory of those in our community that lost their lives to mental health, and pushing for more societal compassion and tolerance and improved healthcare services that can go so far in saving a life.Â
Fair crack of the old whip means that we all deserve an equal chance for a fair go in life. This includes access to mental health services and professionals, a community, and a family that provides support that can a life for the better.
