In June, our Community is taking part in The Push-Up Challenge. We are going to help shine the spotlight on the number of lives lost to suicide in 2022 and raise awareness of mental health. Hey guys, I'm much more than a fitter(😑) at the LinkForce... I came from a 140k people town in Brazil, where we don't even have a McDonald's yet, so definitely I see the path that I did to be here as a great run, so I'm a fitter (🤩) yeah!! hahaha jokes at side... I haven't seen many Brazilians at LF, yet... but those numbers will grow, together with our outcome and definitely drop down the amount of incidents to near zero as we had a tough childhood, always exposed to serious risks, like, loads of people definitely with mental issues as our "representatives", they still as the government but they don't do anything smarter than "invest in a private company", probably of their own... Anyway... my whole state (Great River of the South) is flooded, it means, 11,29 million people are suffering, with them, many exceptional Boilers/Fitters/Sparkyes that will join the force in a future (specially the "SENAI" guys, it's our "TAFE" over there but with lathes, milling machines, welding machines and everybody learns first and then became an apprentice, we can hire any of them with covered eyes, I put my hand on fire for them, everybody is a master in MacGyverism solutions, it's the exactly skill that we need daily changing screens, rollers, hard skirts, liners and filter belts)... The whole situation is chaotic, it's a state with an area 13,53% bigger than 🇬🇧 totally flooded! Yeah, imagine UK now in a after nuke war scenario, it's how it looks like over there, it's clay everywhere, schools, pharmacies, petrol stations, factories and houses where wiped off, it has been raining as never and it doesn't seem that it will stop. Please, help me to support then to swim out of this situation, not giving them money for food or blankets like everyone else but give them the opportunity to show why we saved $10k to came abroad Australia + learnt Spanish and English + studied an engineering diploma for 3-6 years... (getting paid $450/month and paying the same AUD $1-2 for 1L of petrol/milk/coke than you guys) just HIRE more of us... I'm a 30years old man, 5years of my life living in Australia and I understand that we will not last forever but everything is about what we do for the world when here, I ask myself many times why we don't adopt as a project something that makes sense to humanity then? Like, imagine one of those worn out 40km rubber belts, opened in a 80km length, now 5 or 10 of those in a line... Then rolled as a cigarette, linked to a "elevated pool" nearby the ocean and 1 pump getting only 0.02% of the sweet water before it goes to the ocean and pump it up as our hearts does, then gravity acts, delivering it to a dry canyon in our land, forever ♾️, now imagine 10x of it... And x10 of those...? Everything is difficult at the first attempt but it grows faster than we imagine. We, as humans, we need much more than just printed notes💸 we need a mission and we do the impossible (like the Egyptians did). Australia is just thirst and needs to hydrate... And my home country, it needs the 🇦🇺 culture of travel around in a 3k camper van when a teenager and see with your own eyes the paradise that they really own. 🪃... But we have to save the whole year to buy a set of tyres to keep working... Brazil is full of life, now it's bleeding over there, like a wound... A simple avocado there is the size of a 🏈 and they grow everywhere for having so much water and the soil is mostly dark... Anyway... For the climate change and ⚖️ of the 🌍 we need to do our human being mission, it's to think and delivery outcomes, and everything is about the first step, I'm doing the "maximum that I can" (I'm donating just 1 day of my effort, working with something that I love) as I don't see myself with much time to start act, the time is now and we all have how to see what's going on everywhere without the television (private company interests) acting as a filter.
