About Our Challenge
This June, we're taking on The Push-Up Challenge and completing a heap of push-ups between 5-28 June, 2024 to raise funds and awareness for mental health.

Wombats Pumping Iron
In the land down under, where eucalyptus sway, Wombats gather 'round, ready to display. Their furry little bodies, strong and stout, Yearning for a workout, no room for doubt.
They line up in rows, paws on the ground, Eyes focused, determination unbound. “Let’s do some push-ups!” one wombat cries, The others nod eagerly, tails held high.
Down they go, noses grazing the earth, Pushing up with might, proving their worth. Their little legs tremble, muscles engaged, Wombat fitness class—an unexpected stage.
“Five more!” shouts the leader, sweat on his brow, Wombats huff and puff, giving it all they know. Their round bellies quiver, fur ruffled and wild, Yet they persevere, each wombat’s inner child.
And when the sun sets, casting shadows long, Wombats collapse in heaps, feeling oh-so-strong. They’ve conquered the push-ups, a feat so grand, Wombat gym champions, across the land.
So next time you wander through the Aussie terrain, Keep an eye out for wombats flexing their main. They’re not just burrow-dwellers, you see, They’re fitness enthusiasts, as fit as can be!

With Australians struggling with cost-of-living pressures, increasing inflation, housing insecurity, global instability, and recovery after extreme weather events, our crisis support services have remained in high demand with our voice and text services receiving up to 4,000 contacts a day from help seekers. Our partnership with The Push Up Challenge has played a vital role in raising funds to support the delivery of suicide prevention and crisis support services at a time where we have never been needed more.
