3 years on and I'm still learning
This is my third year taking part in the challenge, with the goal of completing 3,214 push-ups in 23 days.
The struggle to keep going with this physical challenge is tough, but everything I have learned through doing this has shown me that those who struggle within their own head space have it far worse.
The push up challenge has given me data over the years that continue to open my eyes to the struggles of mental illness, and what we can do to help ourselves when we have our own issues.
As always, please feel free to donate to my challenge; every dollar raised this year will be going to Lifeline Australia. They are a charity whose sole purpose is to provide aid to those that are struggling and to give tools to those who wish to help someone they know be a better support.
Supporting Lifeline Melbourne VIC

Once again Lifeline Melbourne is proud to be part of The Push-Up Challenge, raising awareness for mental health and the impact of suicide in our communities.
Our dedicated volunteers answer over 30,000 calls to Lifeline’s 13 11 14 crisis line each year—providing vital support to people in their darkest moments. Funds raised through The Push-Up Challenge will help us train more Crisis Supporters and expand our education and training programs, giving individuals the skills to recognise and respond to those in crisis—whether that’s a friend, family member, workmate, colleague and anyone across the community.
Lifeline Melbourne has been part of the community providing vital support for over 55 years, and we’re committed to being here for generations to come.
Every push-up powers a life-saving conversation.
