About My Challenge
I am a compassionate advocate for mental health and wellbeing within SVACS. I believe that fostering awareness and promoting positive mental health is essential for a thriving school community. I believe that education is key to destigmatizing mental health issues. By participating in the challenge, I aim to educate others about the prevalence of mental health conditions and the importance of seeking help.
I see this as an opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with students, parents, and staff, emphasizing that mental health is just as crucial as physical health. I hope that by working together, they can create a supportive environment where mental health discussions are normalized. I envision a future where accessible mental health support is available to everyone, especially young people who may be struggling silently. By actively engaging in the challenge, I am hoping to encourage others to join and take action, reinforcing the message that mental health is a priority.
I'm completing 3,249 push-ups in 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia. Everyone's mental health is important!

Last year, 116,444 Western Australians reached out to Lifeline WA for help. Many were after advice for friends and family. Others were reaching out for someone to listen to their concerns.
