About My Challenge

Along with team Kangaroo at the ABS, I'm completing 3,249 push-ups in 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia.

Lifeline answers 1 million calls from vulnerable Australians every year. In 2022, 3,249 Australians died from suicide, with 75% of those being male. We are experiencing a loneliness epidemic, and societal changes are resulting in men feeling disconnected, broken, purposeless, unwanted and invisible. There is a lot outside of our control, but helping them be heard is an integral step in a long journey. This where Lifeline can help.

I have experienced significant mental health issues throughout my life, but I've been fortunate to have friends, family and professionals help me along my way. Not everyone has that support or ability to afford the help that they need.

Our partnership with The Push Up Challenge has played a vital role in raising funds to support the delivery of suicide prevention and crisis support services at a time where we have never been needed more.
