About My Challenge

Hi All,

Yes I know that you’ve all been waiting for it, and the time has finally arrived - the push-up challenge. Yes, how quickly it comes around. It’s June already. June is known for many things, primarily the start of winter, and the end of yet another season of 'Farmer wants a wife' but June is also that time of year when Legendary Matt defies both age and gravity and under takes the push-up challenge. What a guy! What strength! What courage! What a legend!

Yes, potential donors over the next month legendary Matt will be pushing his way through 3,249 push-ups. Tragically each push-up represents a suicide over the preceding 12 months, and unfortunately the number is not getting any smaller. In fact over the last Four years Legendary Matt has had to complete 12,647 and that’s just incredably difficult to comprehend.

My cause is lifeline and all donations are greatly appreciated. Not only that, if Legendary Matt is fortunate enough to raise $65 then he gets a head band. But If he raises $2,000 then he is eligible for a limited edition water bottle (He really wants that water bottle and is more than happy to share it with any one, providing he happens to achieve the $2,000 - No pressure of course 😀).

Well potential donors all you have to do is follow the bouncing ball to donate to a worthy cause - Lifeline (and it’s tax deductible!)

Any Problems, just let the legend know. I’m sure he can sort them out.

Many thanks in anticipation,

All the best,

Legendary Matt.

Supporting Lifeline

Lifeline exists to ensure no person in Australia has to face their darkest moments alone.
We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to listen, without judgement, to any person in Australia who is feeling overwhelmed, experiencing crisis or longs to be heard.

Experience shows us it is through connection that we can find hope. With Australians struggling with cost-of-living pressures, increasing inflation, housing insecurity, global instability, and recovery after extreme weather events, our crisis support services have remained in high demand with our voice and text services receiving up to 4,000 contacts a day from help seekers. Our partnership with The Push Up Challenge has played a vital role in raising funds to support the delivery of suicide prevention and crisis support services at a time where we have never been needed more.
