I'm doing dumb things for charity again
I am once again making poor personal decisions in the interest of charity. That's right I'm back on my bullshit again and that means committing to physical challenges beyond the scope of my current fitness in order to entertain the masses and raise money for a good cause.
Last year I did the push up challenge and managed to hit my goal of $500 by the end of it. This year I've upped the goal to $1,000, but I don't expect you all to donate twice as much for no increase in value to you, that would be unfair. Instead I'm proposing that in exchange for all of you helping me to reach my goal of $1,000 raised I will double the total goal of push ups. That would mean over the course of June I'll be smashing out 6,498 push ups. For anyone who's done this before you'll know how much of a pain in the arms the standard amount of push ups is, I'm going to try and double that to raise money for a good cause. All money will be going towards headspace Ocean Grove to support the goodwork they do.
The challenge doesn't kick off until 5 June but you can start donating now and really put the pressure on me to deliver.

Supporting headspace Ocean Grove
The headspace Ocean Grove team are passionate about working with young people across the Bellarine and are looking for new and engaging ways to support mental health and wellbeing. The site has seen an increase of over 500 occasions of service during the past financial year with many of those clients having never accessed headspace services before. Connecting with the outdoors and healthy eating are known to improve mental health and the Ocean Grove site has an opportunity to create a new outdoor garden therapy space and cooking program that could help young people connect food and mood.
