About My Challenge
A year ago (24th May 2023), I lost one of my sisters, Miranda, to suicide. As you can imagine it has been a difficult period for me and my family.
Last year I had already decided to take part with friends and siblings in the push-up challenge, because its cause - lifeline and mental health awareness - is very important to me and my siblings who have been touched by our sister’s condition over the years.
The push-up challenge runs from 5th to 28th June, and as you can imagine I was not doing great at that time last year, but I’m grateful that a close friend got me up and FaceTimed me every morning while we did pushups, which allowed me to follow through with my commitment. This helped me get through that very tough time and reminded me why I decided to do it in the first place.
So, this year I am doing it again and I invite you to join or support the team.
I'm completing 3,249 push-ups in 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia.
You can show your support by making a tax-deductible donation to my page.
Every dollar helps #pushforbetter mental health outcomes in Australia by funding much-needed mental health services and initiatives.

Supporting Lifeline
Lifeline exists to ensure no person in Australia has to face their darkest moments alone.
We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to listen, without judgement, to any person in Australia who is feeling overwhelmed, experiencing crisis or longs to be heard.
Experience shows us it is through connection that we can find hope. With Australians struggling with cost-of-living pressures, increasing inflation, housing insecurity, global instability, and recovery after extreme weather events, our crisis support services have remained in high demand with our voice and text services receiving up to 4,000 contacts a day from help seekers. Our partnership with The Push Up Challenge has played a vital role in raising funds to support the delivery of suicide prevention and crisis support services at a time where we have never been needed more.
