“We show up for those who can’t”
My name is Teahne, i’m 28 and I live Sydney.
My brother Bryce passed away by suicide in 2017. This was a shock to my world. However, I educated myself and healed so I could help others. I now specialise in child and adolescent suicide prevention therapy.
I truly believe that exercise is fundamental to maintaining ones mental health, and try and exercise as much as possible myself, as this is definitely one of my release outlets. Bryce would be 27 on the 14th of June.
I am going to attempt in completing 3,249 push-ups in 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health. Suicide is the real pandemic in this world and it is not spoken about enough.
In the past 14 months I have undergone three major surgeries on my left knee. The injury occurred playing soccer in November 2022. The most recent surgery was five weeks ago where I had a full ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair and removal, and my ITB was cut at my knee, threaded through my patella and stitched back to itself. So, key word is attempt, I can't wait to see how far I can push my self during this recovery for a beautiful cause.
Any donation will help, #pushforbetter

Supporting Lifeline
Lifeline exists to ensure no person in Australia has to face their darkest moments alone.
We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to listen, without judgement, to any person in Australia who is feeling overwhelmed, experiencing crisis or longs to be heard.
Experience shows us it is through connection that we can find hope. With Australians struggling with cost-of-living pressures, increasing inflation, housing insecurity, global instability, and recovery after extreme weather events, our crisis support services have remained in high demand with our voice and text services receiving up to 4,000 contacts a day from help seekers. Our partnership with The Push Up Challenge has played a vital role in raising funds to support the delivery of suicide prevention and crisis support services at a time where we have never been needed more.
