About My Challenge
Hi, I'm Thalan!
For a fourth consecutive year, I'll be completing 3,249 push-ups in 24 days to fundraise for Lifeline Western Sydney and raise awareness for mental health in Australia.
Why 3,249 you ask? That's how many Australians took their life in 2022 - that's 9 people every day. By participating in this challenge and fundraising for life-saving services, we're hoping to get this number lower and lower every year.
You can show your support by making a tax-deductible donation to my page, and even as little as $1 can go a long way.
Thank you for supportiing me as I #pushforbetter mental health in Australia.
Supporting Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney
Lifeline Australia is one of the beneficiaries of this year’s The Push-Up Challenge. Together, Lifeline and The Push-Up Challenge, aim to raise awareness about mental health and the impact of suicide on Australians.
Funds raised will enable Lifeline to continue providing their critical 24/7 crisis support and suicide prevention services, answer more help seeker contacts, and ensure any person in Australia who needs support knows where and how to find it.
