Why am I doing this?
Hey everyone
3249 Australians committed suicide in Australia in 2022 and I am attempting to complete a push up for each of these individuals from June 5-28. This is appalling and I am incredibly passionate about breaking the stereotype around mental health and want to help reduce this number drastically.
All of the funds raised will go towards Lifeline, a service which offers people an opportunity to call and get assistance during their most desperate times.
To help me achieve the target and support this great cause with unique incentives including:
$50 - I will perform the push ups that day in a location of your choice E.g. The shops; on the oval during recess; grandpa's retirement village; anywhere else you can think of!!!
$150 - Same as the $50 but you can add in an activity E.g. In the shops with a speaker playing I'm a Barbie Girl; a squat after every push up;
$300 - Double the amount of push ups for the next three days. HINT: Check their website for the days I will be doing the most!!!
