About My Challenge
I'm doing 3,249 push-ups and sit-ups in 24 days to push for better mental health.
This represents the 3,249 lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2022 (the most recent available data).
Suicide can be a difficult topic to talk about, but it's an important one. Sadly, too many people know the heartbreak of losing someone they love to suicide. I'm pushing for Elissa Sin and Isabel River, who left us too soon and are remembered every day.
I am raising funds to help improve access to mental health services for people when they need it most, and prevent mental health issues escalating to the point of crisis, so that we can ultimately reduce the number of lives lost to suicide and improve the overall mental health and wellbeing of people in Australia.

Supporting headspace Osborne Park
headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds.
Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 157 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.
The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.
