You may know me from riding BMX, as 'that dude who cleans up skateparks sometimes" or from a plethora of other places. Welcome to my Push Up Challenge page!
What is that you ask?Â
I'm completing 3,249 push-ups in 24 days (June 5-28) to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia. This figure represents the 3,249 lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2022.
You can show your support by making a tax-deductible donation to my page. Every dollar or cent helps #pushforbetter mental health outcomes in Australia by funding much-needed mental health services and initiatives.
If you're not in a position to donate, even a share or words of encouragement go a long way to getting this challenge done!
Through my training as a pharmacist as well as the experiences of myself and people close to me, I have a large vested interest in improving mental health outcomes in Australia.
Any help and support in me doing so is hugely appreciated! 🤙
All donations I receive will be going towards Headspace Australia to help continue supporting young people's mental health (like skateparks and action sports do!)
Supporting headspace National
headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds.
Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 157 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.
The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.
