About Our Challenge
USYD Bouldersoc are excited to present a collaborative charity project for climbing societies in Sydney. Join us as we take part in ‘The Push Up Challenge’, a meaningful fundraising event dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and supporting vital initiatives in Australia.
The challenge involves completing 3,249 push-ups between June 5-28. This figure represents each life lost to suicide in Australia in 2022, including 962 full-time students. By uniting climbing societies in Sydney for a common cause we aim to raise awareness about mental health issues and the importance of mental health support, whilst also promoting community engagement and the benefits of physical activities for mental health.
Funds raised will go towards supporting organisations such as Lifeline, headspace, and the Push for Better Foundation.

Your support and donations will help us #pushforbetter mental health outcomes in Australia, with our particular team supporting Headspace Camperdown, a local centre that has helped countless people in our community!
Supporting headspace Camperdown
headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds.
Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through our headspace centres in over 157 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.
The support headspace receives from the community helps us achieve our vision - that all young Australians are supported to be mentally healthy and engaged in their communities.
